How I spent my summer
Share your stories, relive the moments, and celebrate how we made this summer unforgettable — in English, naturally.
At the heart of ANGLO fest is our charity fair — a vibrant marketplace where kids sell pre-loved toys and books to other children. By buying or selling, your child practises real-life English, learns the value of sharing, and helps those who need it most.
In our inaugural year, we have chosen to support Preodelenie. This is a charity Hugh Mc Enaney has known for well over 15 years, with a simple yet challenging mission — to assist children and adults to improve their mobility with hippotherapy. Horses help with balance and overall strength.
We’ve invited bilingual experts, popular bloggers, and influential educators passionate about natural English learning. They’ll share insights, answer your questions, and prove that raising a bilingual child is not only possible — it’s wonderful.
We have planned a number of presentations from fellow “Angloparents” who are aware of the joys and challenges of raising children in a bi-lingual and often a multilingual home. Learn, share and discuss tools, tips and techniques.
The day
A festival built for families: speakers and workshops running alongside games, a reading corner, and a charity fair.

Swap stories with families who are raising children in English — no lectures, just real talk.

Meet schools, clubs, and makers who live and breathe bilingual childhood.

Run, chase, and play in the open air — all instructions, all cheers, all in English.

Quiet corners for strategy, laughter, and new friends across the table.

Stories, picture books, and a soft place to land between the louder adventures.

Kids sell pre-loved toys and books, practise real-life English, and help those who need it most.

Clues around the grounds, teamwork required, bragging rights included.

A stage for older kids to argue, listen, and find their voice — in English.
